With a prime downtown Appleton location adjacent to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel offers the kind of warm hospitality, inviting atmosphere and topnotch services sure to please business and leisure travelers alike. Room reservations must be made by September 10, 2008 to ensure availability and the group rate. Ask for the WBEA Convention Rate.

REGISTRATION

Member and non-member registration includes program booklet, WBEA notepad, name tag, conference favor, keynote address, educational sessions, round table discussions, Thursday night’s social and coffee/refreshment breaks.

BADGES

Convention badges will be required for all attendees for admittance to educational sessions, Exhibit Hall, meal functions, special events and socials. Badges will be distributed during registration check-in.

COLLEGE CREDIT

UW-Whitewater will once again offer graduate credit for attendance at the WBEA Fall Convention. One graduate credit can be earned through (1) attending all sessions, (2) attending a meeting with Dr. Lila Waldman at the convention and (3) submitting a graduate-level report summarizing all sessions attended. The cost for credit has not yet been determined but will be at least $384. If you are not already a graduate student at UW-Whitewater, you need to apply as a special graduate (non-degree) student. Once enrolled, contact Heather Dawson at dawsonh@uww.edu or 262-472-1322 to register for the class. The registration deadline to receive this graduate credit is September 2, 2008.

REGISTRATION POLICIES

  • We MUST receive full payment no later than July 31, 2008 in order to avoid the higher fee.
  • Each registrant must complete a separate registration form. You may photocopy the form if more are needed.
  • To be eligible for the member fees, you must have paid for your 2008-09 membership or remit your dues with your conference registration form.
  • There is a first-time attendee stipend available through WBEA. The application form can be found on our web site at www.wbeaonline.org.
  • To be eligible for the student rate, you must be a full-time student at an accredited college or university.

REGISTRATION HOURS

The Registration area will be located in the hotel lobby and will be open on the following days and times:

  • Thursday, September 25 11:30 am – 6:00 pm
  • Friday, September 26 7:30 am – 3:00 pm
  • Saturday, September 27 7:30 am – 9:30 am

MEALS/MEAL TICKETS

Please indicate your meal choice on the registration form. Meal tickets will be collected at each meal function.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND POLICY

  • Cancellations received in writing by September 12, 2008 will receive a refund minus a 25% administrative fee.
  • NO REFUNDS will be issued after September 12, 2008.

PHOTO RELEASE

From time to time, we use photographs of participants in our materials. By virtue of your attendance, you agree to the use of your likeness in such materials.
