2013 Annual Convention

October 10-11

Madison, WI

Plans are well underway for the WBEA Convention being held in our State Capital city of Madison this October 10-11, at the Madison Concourse Hotel. The committee is working on some changes and hopefully you will be able to join us for what will be a great time to network and enjoy the city of Madison.


This year we are going to be offering a 1-day, 2-day registration fee. One of the many concerns is that members are saying they can't attend both days. The registration fee this year will be $65.00 for 1-day, $110.00 for 2-day early bird registration which will open by April 15 and go until July 15. However, you must have PAID by July 15 in order to get the early bird registration. Regular registration will be $75.00 for 1-day, $120.00 for 2-day with regular registration closing on October 4 and onsite registration after that date will be $85.00 for 1-day and $150.00 for 2-day. You will be able to register which day or days you will be attending the convention.

7:30-5:00 Registration
8:00-8:30 Continental Breakfast
8:30-10:00 Opening Session/Keynote
10:15-11:00 Session 1 (Five Different Topics)
11:15-12:00 Session 2 (Five Different Topics)
12:00-1:00 Lunch (Speaker during Lunch)
12:00-6:30 Exhibits (Only on first day.)
1:15-2:00 Sessions 3 (Five Different Topics)
2:15-4:00 Tours/Visit Vendors
4:15-4:45 Session 4 (Roundtable 1) Five Topics Each Round
4:45-5:15 Session 4 (Roundtable 2)
5:15-6:15 Vendors Reception
6:15 Grand Prize Drawing

8:00-9:15 Annual Meeting/DPI Breakfast with Dave (Continental Breakfast)
9:15-9:45 Checkout Time
10:00-10:45 Session 5 (Five Different Topics)
11:00-11:45 Session 6 (Five Different Topics)
12:00-1:00 Awards Luncheon
1:15-2:00 Session 7 (Five Different Topics)
2:15-2:45 Session 8 (Roundtable 1) Same topics as Thursday
2:45-3:15 Session 8 (Roundtable 2)

Roundtable discussions will be Five different topics the first round and five different ones the second round. The same topics will be discussed both days so if you can only attend one day, you will be able to pick two topics that interest you and if you can attend both days, you will be able to attend four different topics.
